representations as governed compressions
cognition as topology over latent structure
world models as constrained reconstructions
verification via self-consistency
intelligence as selective retention under bounded resources
routing and compression being the true bottleneck
generation as constrained search over admissible states
I’ve basically been intuiting an engineering-control-theory version of this based on everything from audio engineering, thermodynamics and racecars while everyone else was busy worshipping benchmark curves and valuation. There's so many lessons to be learned beyond comp sci degrees and silicon Valley echo chambers.
